The Orthopedic Sports Medicine Center of Atlanta provides the full range of Orthopedic and ancillary services including X-Ray, surgical facilities and physical therapy. We are a full-service practice that specializes in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders, arthritis and sports injuries. We offer a wide range of services for adult and pediatric patients, including management of disorders of the upper and lower extremities, fracture care and treatment for all sports-related injuries.

Facility OverviewNorthside Hospital's Physician Office practices are dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate healthcare. For the convenience of our communities, we offer an extensive network of Physician Office practices and locations throughout the state of Georgia. We handle a wide variety of health concerns, ranging from primary to specialty care.

Service Area OverviewOur practice serves patients of all ages and treats a variety of conditions involving muscles, bones and joints. We provide a wide range of treatment options, including simple exercises, rehabilitation, medication or surgery. We work with our patients to determine the most appropriate care plan using evidence-based protocols.

Position DescriptionTo function as a physician extender as part of an orthopedic team to assist in the office and OR. Practice focus on shoulder/elbow, adult and pediatric sports medicine, but also general orthopedics. Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication and organizational skills.

This is a float position. The employee is required to float between 2 locations. The locations are:

Roswell location: 11685 Alpharetta Highway, S-150B, Roswell, GA 30076

Buford location: 1839 Buford Highway, S-100, Buford, GA 30518

Position RequirementsREQUIRED: 1. ATC (athletic trainer certification) or LAT (licensed athletic trainer) 2. NATA (national athletic trainer’s association ) or BOC-ATC (board of certification for athletic trainers) PREFERRED: 1. OTC (orthopedic tech certification) and/or 2. O-PA (orthopedic physician assistant certification)
