Job Details

Provides prevention and care of athletic and orthopedic injuries, including therapeutic rehabilitation under supervision and written referral from a physician. is also accountable for the assessment, management, treatment, rehabilitation, conditioning and performance training of the physically active person whose conditions are within the professional preparation and education of a certified athletic trainer.

Position Responsibilities-
  • Responsible for the treatment and supervision of treatment of all minor athletic injuries and conditions
  • Responsible for referring athletic injuries to physicians for diagnosis and treatment
  • Develops and Supervises appropriate rehabilitation programs for athletes under the supervision of a physician
  • Responsible for the safe operation, inventory, and requisition of all athletic training supplies and equipment
  • Responsible for completing athletic and fitness assessments for wellness and sports performance clients
  • Responsible for developing and providing effective conditioning and sports performance training programs for clients registered in the sports performance and health and wellness programs
  • Cooperates with the Director of Clinical Services and Human Performance to ensure all services are appropriately charged and claims are generated in a timely manner
  • Follows clinic controls protecting staff, physical plant, financial and information resources
  • Develops and Maintains positive relationships with physicians, external customers and internal customers

Education-
Bachelor’s Degree – Accredited Athletic Training Required

Licensure/Certification-
State licensure as Licensed Athletic Trainer (LAT)

Minimum Experience-

One (1) year of related work experience
