Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred.
Must be BOC certified and Illinois licensed or eligible.
Previous high school experience preferred, strong background in functional rehab is desired.
This is a full-time position, (239 day work calendar) beginning the first Monday in July through the last working day of May. No teaching is required, competitive salary with excellent benefits. The assistant will work closely with the Head ATC and one other full-time assistant athletic trainer in a well-developed comprehensive athletic/health care program for a large suburban high school. School enrollment is 2000, with 30 varsity sports.
Hours will vary Monday-Friday, plus varying hours on Saturdays during the school year. Candidate must be flexible with hours to help provide medical care for all home athletic events and practices. A state of the art athletic training facility featuring an extensive array of therapeutic modalities and strength and conditioning equipment is available.
